The stand, which will be formally launched at Crufts 2019, represents a huge step forward for the club in how it publicises the breed.
Holly and Sarah have committed a huge amount of time, at no cost, over the last year to make sure the club’s promotional materials are of the highest quality.
The printing costs of the new stand materials have also been financed in large part by donations from club members. Steve Inch
Discover Dogs is an important event for the breed, giving the public a rare opportunity to discover and meet an English Toy Terrier for the first time.
The breed stand redesign was high on the agenda for the Media Sub-Committee and made possible through club funding and generous donations from club members.
Sarah and I set out to design impactful and striking new print materials with a view to catching eyes and drawing the public in to learn more, building upon the great work of club members before us.
Our challenge was to keep it minimal. Kim Ross, Discover Dogs Co-Ordinator, advised us that very few people read the information we currently display, so we opted for large, high quality prints, carefully selected from hundreds of images to best represent all aspects of the breed.
It’s a work in progress that we hope to develop further in the future. The Media Sub-Committee have plans to screen video content at future Discover Dogs… Watch this space!
