Breed Appreciation Day
Saturday 8th September 2018
On behalf of the committee I would like to thank eveyone who attended the ETT Seminar today whether it be as a candidate, helper or in an official capacity. September 8th saw the ETT Club’s Breed Appreciation Day, in line with the KC’s new JCF Guidelines.
The day was extrememly well attended and from the feedback everyone found the day very informative in a relaxed atmosphere. Candidates ranged from experienced Judges to people who just wanted to learn more about our breed.
Mr Nick Gourley talked on the history of the breed and covered the breed standard in depth. Our Breed Appreciation Co-ordinator Mr Derfel Owen oversaw the Multi-Choice Exam.
Some of the candidates undertook the A3 judging Assessment during the Afternoon. From feedback already received the candidates found the day to be extrememly professional and informative.
Special thanks to Terry Burgess, Richard Haynes and John Geraghty for helping with the assessing. And well done Sammy and Colin (with a little help from Hazel) on feeding the masses. A great meal.
An excellent day had by all! We look forward to the next one.
