Celebrations all round at the English Toy Terrier Clubs' northern show. A lovely time was had by all on a day which turned out to be very hot. Our judge Malcolm Murray commented on the lovely day and the quality of all the dogs entered under him. Not always a huge entry at this show which means plenty of time to show case our breed and connect with new people who have travelled to the show to meet and learn about the qualities of our litle black terriers. I would personally like to thank everyone who came to the show - Our Judge and all the exhibitors. But foremost I would like to thank the committee who get up at an ungodly hour to travel and set up the show before the exhibitors arrive, Jan and Derfel who undertook the stewarding. The Wild family for overseeing the catering - Grand Job Lee and to Julie for twisting everybody's arm to buy a raffle ticket which resulted in an absolute superb amount raised. Results to follow. ... Just under a week to the club show. We are once again hoping for nice weather but would like it to be a bit cooler of late. The club would appreciate any raffle prize donations as the proceeds help to cover the cost of the shows. The Middlewich venue isn't the easiest to find so below are the directions when you reach Middlewich - hope they help. Looking forward to seeing you all there at our 80th Anniversay Northern Show.
Directions to the Show The main car park will be closed for the car show therefore you will need to access the hall from the rear via the one way system. From the A54 enter the town and after passing the Church on your left turn LEFT after the bus pull over (The Bull Ring) then turn LEFT again at Tesco Express (Wheelock Street). Pass the Church on your left then turn RIGHT after the Kings Arms (Queen Street). After Tesco Supermarket car park on the right and before Middlewich High School on the left turn LEFT into SAINT ANNS WALK. The small hall car park is on the left after the brick wall. Saint Annes Walk has double yellow lines so if the hall car park is full use the leisure centre car park at the end of the road on the right. If you get lost call Pat on 07811 849704. ...
