The Club has recently formed a media sub-committee that is tasked with the creation and management of all marketing/media materials used by the Club. The main objectives being to provide a more consistent and current look/feel to all our media touchpoints. Whilst also ensuring all messaging concerning this wonderful breed is well communicated whether that’s to our current members, prospective members or the outside world. The scope of the media sub-committee will extend across the Club website, Thumbprints, Discover Dogs displays, Club information leaflets/packs etc. The sub-committee will be chaired by Graeme Dixon our current Thumbprints Co-ordinator. He will be very ably supported by Kim Ross our Discover Dogs Co-ordinator and three club members with specialist skills: Steve Inch, Holly Nowell and Sarah Crossling. The first meeting of the sub-committee will take place at Crufts and we look forward to the exciting times ahead. ... See MoreSee Less

Due to recent events the Official Club was left without a Patron. We offer this position which is for life to people who have had a considerable impact on the breed. To this end it was decided to offer this position to Shirley Ellis-Jones. Shirley has been a club member for many years and although I do know her there will be many people in the breed who will be able to say more about her than me. The position was offered and Shirley rang me last night and I am delighted to say that she has accepted the position. Can I take this opportuity to welcome Shirley in her new role. We hope to have a photograph and a brief profile of Shirley's time in ETT's soon. ... See MoreSee Less

A much deserved appointment. Welcome Shirley.

I think Ted and Shirley started in the breed in the 1970s.Possibly 76.

Hello Shirley. Looking forward to meeting you x

Yes Andy in 1976.Their affix is Brynlythe which is behind many of our dogs today. Ted and Shirley bred CH Brynlythe Tania the top bitch sitting on 27 c.c.s .They have bred over 17 CH. Not counting the ones abroad. Plus Shirley gives tickets in 7 breeds including SMT.the only one to give tickets in both ETTs And SMT.please correct me if I am wrong. My first ETT was Brynlythe Miss Sue of Sharex. I have known Ted and Shirley since the late 70s and been good friends ever since. Big Congratulations to Shirley. Xxxxx

Excellent choice. Well done, and congratulations to Shirley. Please to see her / Brynlythe, given the honour they so richly deserve.

Congratulations to the club and Shirley

Sorry but we wont be at Crufts this year, waiting for a date for the knee op so not booked any shows yet. x Hope you all have a good day x

I said previously to you that we'd be very happy to be on DD the day the toy/utilities are on - especially to cover the time of the breed showing as we won't be showing ourselves and I know how difficult it is to get people to cover. have you passed that on to Kim?

Thanks. We would like to take all 3 of the ETs
